Former Ohio State coach Urban Meyer has been embroiled in his fair share of controversies over the years. He was suspended for 3 games last season for a situation involving former Ohio State assistant Zach Smith.

Recently, a video of Alabama coach Nick Saban arguing for second chances for players from 2014 resurfaced and went viral again.

Check out the video below, where Saban argues for giving second chances to players who mess up:

On Wednesday night, Meyer’s wife, Shelley, responded to the video, claiming that her husband tried to do that exact same thing and got hammered for it:

This is not an easy issue to discuss, but as it involves the Zach Smith situation, Smith had multiple allegations against him from different time periods. Second chances are one thing, but how many chances should players and coaches get?
