With Alabama’s defense setting news standards for stinginess under Nick Saban, you’d expect the Crimson Tide’s intensity to be through the roof.

During a Monday meeting with the media, linebacker Ryan Anderson revealed just how strong that mentality is.

“We hate everybody on the other team,” Anderson said. “Everybody that’s lined up across from us, we hate you. We’re gonna try to kill you.”

The senior’s nonchalant response drew laughs from reporters, but that extreme level of intensity has yielded incredible results on the field. Alabama is first nationally against the run with just 66 yards allowed per game while ranking second in total defense and scoring defense.

The Tide most recently held LSU star running back Leonard Fournette to just 35 yards on 17 carries, but you probably didn’t need Anderson to tell you how deep the hatred went in that game.
