When you go to Alabama, you either already hate Auburn or you quickly learn to hate the Tigers.

Even when players leave to go play in the NFL, that dislike remains strong, as is the case with O.J. Howard, a former Alabama tight end who was a first-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft and now plays for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

As you can see in the video below, shared on Twitter by @CampusLore, Howard says Auburn’s trick plays are what annoys him the most:

“We’re more pounding, pounding, pounding and they’re more finesse,” he said. “Like, a lot of trick plays and stuff to try to score. I don’t really like that about them. (If) it helps you win games, I’ll do it too. But I feel that I don’t really like that they use a lot of trick plays to score.”

Even though Howard will be busy preparing for the Bucs’ game on Sunday, it’s safe to say he’ll make time to watch the Iron Bowl on Saturday afternoon. And it’s also safe to say the Tigers will attempt at least one of the trick plays that annoy Howard.
