Nick Saban is riding high right now, having just won his sixth national championship (fifth with Alabama).

He’s accomplished everything there is to accomplish in college football, but would he really leave Tuscaloosa to go back to the NFL?

Recently retired NFL coach Bruce Arians, who spent the past five years as the Arizona Cardinals’ head coach, joined “The Herd with Colin Cowherd” on Tuesday and said he wouldn’t be surprised if Saban jumped back to the NFL ranks:

“It would not surprise me, and there’s a job he covets that just happens to be open,” Arians said. “But he’s just got a dynasty right now. Another dynamite recruiting class. Why he would do it, I don’t know, but it would not shock me if he did.”

So, what is that job that might convince Saban to leave Tuscaloosa?

“The Giants,” Arians said. “Because they’re the New York Giants. When we grew up, they were the thing.”

It’ll take a lot to get Saban to head back to the NFL, but the Giants may be willing to make him an offer he can’t refuse.
