Tua Tagovailoa is one of the best players in the country and a heavy favorite to win the Heisman Trophy.

However, the Alabama sophomore quarterback is also one of the most humble guys you’ll ever meet, and he enjoys giving back when he can.

This week, prior to the LSU game (which Alabama won 29-0), Tagovailoa took some time out of his busy schedule to FaceTime with a young fan named Sid, who is sadly battling brain cancer. As you can see in the video below, posted to the SidStrong Facebook page, Tagovailoa speaks with the young athlete (who says he plays football, basketball and baseball) for a few minutes:

Tagovailoa also prays for Sid’s recovery and says he’ll be sending Sid some cool stuff over the coming weeks. He adds that he hopes to come visit Sid soon.

That clearly made Sid’s day, and it’ll be great to see those two get together in the near future.
