Alabama likely to face Washington in CFP, and here's what everyone is saying about it
Last night Washington all but locked up a spot in the College Football Playoff with a convincing 41-10 win over No. 8 Colorado in the Pac-12 championship.
Thus, it appears as if Alabama knows who it will be matched up with in the Peach Bowl semifinals. And with Ohio State *probably* lined up for the No. 2 or 3 seed no matter what, we will await the outcome of the ACC and Big Ten title games to determine the final invitee (e.g. Clemson, Penn State/Wisconsin/Michigan).
Twitter was buzzing after the Huskies’ blowout win Friday night. Here’s what some had to say about the potential Bama-UW matchup:
Not only did huge Washington win almost guarantee its CFP spot, committee may be able to jump UW to 3 & avoid 2nd Clemson-Alabama title game

Congrats to the Washington Huskies. There's nothing for the CFB Commitee to think about here. 41-10 win? Enough. They should be IN!

@BigAntHerron saw Washington game. Defense looked awesome. Are they compatible to Alabama defense?
