Will Anderson Jr. reacts to Jimbo Fisher's comments, idea of sitting out ahead of the NFL Draft
Will Anderson Jr. is ready for a big season at Alabama, and he’s looking forward to addressing Jimbo Fisher’s comments toward Alabama and Nick Saban.
The Alabama linebacker, widely regarded as one of the best players in college football, said, “We note it. We don’t have to speak on it much. When the game gets on, we’ll address it then.”
“I think what motivates me is the love of the game of football,” Anderson said. “I don’t really need much to get me going because I love football so much. Just the fact that I get to strap up and put a helmet and shoulder pads on and go out there and line up against somebody and go against them is all I need to motivate me is go out there and have fun and hit somebody and fire up my teammates.”
Anderson added that he gave no thought to sitting out this season to avoid injury and protect his NFL Draft stock.
