Will Reichard is leaving Alabama after 4 seasons. Reichard never redshirted, but he had the option of remaining with the Crimson Tide for another season with the NCAA’s COVID-19 waiver. Instead, he’s off to the pros.

The Reese’s Senior Bowl revealed Reichard has accepted his invitation to participate in the all-star game, an NFL Draft showcase.

Reichard will depart Alabama as the program’s all-time leader for career points with 417 on 61 field goals and 234 made extra points. He ranks fourth all-time among Crimson Tide kickers in field goals with 61.

In 2022, Reichard had 121 points, which ranked second in the SEC and fourth nationally in total points scored. Reichard went 21-of-25 on field goals and made all 58 point-after tries. Reichard and the Tide are off to New Orleans to face Kansas State in the Sugar Bowl.

Nick Saban’s staff is prepared for Reichard’s departure. Conor Talty, from Chicago, committed to Alabama on July 20. Talty is rated the No. 3 kicker in the class of 2023 on the 247Sports Composite.

Reichard will likely be kicking for many Alabama fans when he plays in Mobile.
