While there hasn’t been much information released regarding Alex Collins’ recent arrest, that hasn’t stopped the Ravens from cutting ties with the team’s running back.

This can’t be a good sign regarding what’s to come as Collins has rushed for 1,509 yards and 14 touchdowns in 36 career games and has now seen his time with the franchise cut only hours after his morning arrest.

According to police reports following the accident, a vehicle crashed into a tree not far from the Ravens facility early on Friday morning. It’s unclear if Collins was the driver of the vehicle but he was later taken into custody. Collins was set to be a restricted free agent and now will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

During his three seasons in Fayetteville, Collins rushed for 3,703 yards and 27 touchdowns. Following his playing career with the Razorbacks, Collins was selected in the 5th Round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks.
