Very few, if anyone, gave Arkansas a shot to beat Mississippi State on Saturday.

The Bulldogs were a week removed from a 44-34 win over defending national champion LSU, a game where quarterback K.J. Costello threw for a conference-record 623 yards.

The Razorbacks, meanwhile, had played a close game against Georgia, but couldn’t hold on as they ultimately fell, 37-10.

That’s on top of the fact that they had lost 20 SEC games in a row, their last conference win coming against Ole Miss on Oct. 28, 2017.

But Arkansas gave head coach Sam Pittman a first win to remember as they shocked Mississippi State 21-14 in Oxford. Costello was 43-for-59 for 313 yards and a touchdown, but threw 3 interceptions as the Razorbacks came up with a total of 4 takeaways on the day.

On Sunday, their social media department released a highlight video from the game, featuring snippets of Pittman’s pre- and post-game talks to the team.
