To call the 2018-19 basketball season a disappointment for Arkansas would be an understatement. For many of the Razorback faithful, a low point has been hit that requires a coaching change.

The Hogs fell 87-80 Saturday to Texas A&M. Losing five-straight with No. 5 coming against a team with a losing record (12-14, 5-9 SEC) has many Arkansas fans on social media calling for the firing of coach Mike Anderson.

It’s hard to imagine things will get any better for Anderson soon. The Razorbacks play at Kentucky (23-4, 12-2) Tuesday night.

Anderson was given a contract extension in January 2018, when the Hogs were on their way to a berth in the NCAA tournament. A lot has changed, however, in the past year. The Razorbacks are currently 14-13 and 5-9 in SEC play, a season that may prove disappointing enough to result in Anderson’s firing.
