The Arkansas Razorbacks look like a dangerous team as tournament time nears. The Hogs can score in many different ways with several different players.

Arkansas knocked off the Auburn Tigers 91-82 Tuesday night, as the Tigers lost their second straight game for the first time this season. Arkansas improved to 21-9 overall and 10-7 in SEC play, while Auburn fell to 24-6 overall and 12-5 in SEC play. Auburn’s loss to Arkansas was much like it was to Florida last Saturday. Every time the Tigers looked like they would make some sort of run, Arkansas would respond in a big way.

Hogs freshman Daniel Gafford was nearly unstoppable. The 6-foot-11 forward nearly claimed a triple double and finished with 21 points, 10 rebounds and seven blocks. Senior guard Jaylen Barford also scored 20 points. Anton Beard and Daryl Macon both scored in double figures.

Auburn’s Mustapha Heron led all scorers with 28 points, while Jared Harper put in 20.

With Tennessee’s win earlier Tuesday over Mississippi State, the Tigers and Volunteers are tied atop the SEC standings heading into Saturday’s regular season finale. Auburn will host South Carolina, while Tennessee will host Georgia.
