One Arkansas recruit who’s stayed with the program through the coaching change has reason to celebrate this week.

Noah Banks was named a National Junior College Athletic Association All-American after playing for Iowa Western Community College. Listed at 6-foot-8, 315 pounds, the offensive lineman prospect will have two years to play at Arkansas.

Banks reportedly chose Arkansas over Missouri, Iowa State and Middle Tennessee, according to Whole Hog Sports. He will have two years to play at Arkansas.

“Very happy to say I have committed to the University of Arkansas,” Banks wrote on Twitter when he committed last month. “It’s been a long journey through high school and never thought I’d see myself headed to the SEC. Thank you to all the great people I have been able to meet along the way.”

Banks was Arkansas’ 11th commit of the 2018 recruiting class. Banks reportedly committed to Troy out of high school, but ended up at Murray State, where he started nine of 10 games as a redshirt freshman before transferring to Iowa Western.

The Razorbacks have three offensive tackle recruits out of their class of 11 prospects. The class is currently ranked last in the SEC, according to the 247 Sports Composite.
