The Razorbacks now hold three commitments from Tennessee natives as Trey Knox joins Adonis Otey and Shamar Nash as Volunteer State natives headed to play their college football in Fayetteville. Long considered an Arkansas lean, Knox made his announcement public on Monday.

Knox isn’t just the latest Tennessee prospect to commit to Chad Morris’ program, he’s also the highest-rated member of the three recruits and the program’s second overall highest rated commitment of the 2019 recruiting cycle behind only receiver Treylon Burks of Warren. With his addition, the Razorbacks now hold pledges from 20 overall prospects this cycle in a class that ranks as the No. 20 overall class in the nation.

According to 247Sports Composite Rankings, ranks as the nation’s No. 191 overall prospect and the No. 29 receiver for the 2019 recruiting cycle. Knox chose Arkansas over finalists Florida and Tennessee. He also holds offers from Auburn, Clemson and Ohio State among others. Of Arkansas’ 20 commitments, the Razorbacks now hold pledges from five prospects rated as four-star players (Burks, Knox, Collin Clay, Mataio Soli, and Nash).
