Sean Michael Flanagan decommitted from Arkansas on Monday night.

The Charleston, Ark., native instead decided he will attend Oklahoma State. He took official visits to the two schools the past couple of weeks, a 247Sports article pointed out.

Flanagan is listed by the 247Sports Composite as a 3-star athlete in the class of 2018. He plans to sign with the Cowboys on Wednesday, Dec. 20, according to a post on his Twitter account.

“He had committed to Arkansas on June 3, but under the former coaching staff,” the 247Sports article said. “Flanagan said Sunday at the conclusion of his Arkansas visit that he was still committed to Arkansas, but also considering Oklahoma State.”

He apparently was concerned about the fact that Arkansas still doesn’t have a defensive coordinator, yet he indicated the Razorbacks wanted him to play on that side of the ball.

“It’d be nice to know who it will be, but we’ll wait and see,” Flanagan said.

He didn’t “wait and see” for very long:
