Arkansas has always found a way to develop recruits.

Though Fayetteville isn’t one of the glamour destinations in the SEC, prospects find a way to thrive there.

Running backs Darren McFadden, Felix Jones, Peyton Hillis, Kniles Davis and receiver Jarius Wright have been productive in the NFL.

But there were plenty of coveted prospects that didn’t pan out for Arkansas.

One of the biggest disappointments was DT Calvin Barnett from the 2010 class. He never made it to the Arkansas campus. He didn’t qualify academically, went to junior college and ended up finishing strong at Oklahoma State. Now, he is a member of the Miami Dolphins, though he has yet to contribute.

The 2011 class included four-star WR Marquel Wade, who couldn’t stay out of trouble and rarely saw the field. He recorded eight receptions for 62 yards during his career at Arkansas.

Bijhon Jackson, a four-star prospect in 2014 has yet to produce entering his junior season, recording only eight tackles in 2015.
