CB LaDarrius Bishop simultaneously commits to Arkansas, decommits from Mississippi State
Arkansas fans got some great news on Sunday night, while Mississippi State fans simultaneously got some bad news.
LaDarrius Bishop, a 3-star cornerback out of Ashdown, Ark., decommitted from the Bulldogs and, at the same time, pledged his commitment to the Razorbacks.
“At this time, I would like to let everyone know I am decommitting from Mississippi State University,” Bishop said. “When I started this process, it was all about the relationships I had built with particular coaches.
“After several coaching changes throughout college football I have decided the best thing for me to do is attend the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.”
Bishop is a 6-foot, 180-pound prospect in the class of 2018 and is listed as the No. 5 player in Arkansas by the 247Sports Composite. He has an additional SEC offer from Florida.
Here’s what Bishop posted on his Twitter account:

Arkansas now has four of the top five players from inside the state committed, according to 247Sports.
The Hogs’ goal, however, is to get all five:

Gerry Bohanon, the state’s No. 1 overall player, seems to be on board with that:
