Chad Morris after 34-3 loss at Auburn: 'We knew we were in for a battle'
Arkansas coach Chad Morris was complimentary of Auburn following a 34-3 loss on the road Saturday night.
The Razorbacks fell to 1-3 and 0-1 in the SEC.
“That’s a good football team we just played,” Morris said. “They’re well-coached, great front seven. A veteran football team. We knew we were in for a battle tonight.”
Morris said he saw his team has the traits to improve this season.
“Let me say this about our football team,” he said. “These guys fought, they fought their tail off. They didn’t back down, there was no challenge too big for them. Extremely proud with how these guys have fought, especially with the adversity these guys have had to battle these last two weeks. They keep caring, they keep giving what we ask them to give. That’s a sign of a football team that’s going to continue to get better.”
"I thought Ty was gritty. He left everything out on the field. We can build off his performance tonight.”

"I can not tell you how proud I am of that football team in that locker room. They fought their tails off. They care. “
