Judging by the team’s most recent injury report, Arkansas may be the most banged up team in the entire SEC.

That’s the bad news, the good news is the bye week for the Razorbacks is quickly approaching but the team still has to get through Vanderbilt before getting there. Coming off the first win in seven weeks likely makes that task easier, but doing so with nearly a dozen players limited makes that task all the more difficult heading into Saturday’s home stand against the Commodores.

During his most recent media availability Monday, Chad Morris went down the list of injuries affecting his team heading into the week of preparation for Vanderbilt. Here’s everything the head Hog had to say about his injured players to start the week.

QB — Ty Storey:

“He is cleared. It’s great, excited and ready to go.”

OL — Colton Jackson:

“Colton Jackson is probable with his back. It’s not where he had the surgery, it’s a little bit higher up. We anticipate that being resolved and him being ready to play.”

OL — Johnny Gipson:

“Johnny Gipson is day-to-day right now. We expect him to be back but it’s day-to-day.”

Question: Is it his hand that’s hurt?

“It was more his knee, but he should be fine.”

WR — Jared Cornelius:

“Jared Cornelius went out with an ankle, day-to-day.”

RB — Rakeem Boyd:

“Rakeem Boyd, he’s back. He’s good to go.”

DL — Armon Watts:

“Armon Watts is day-to-day with a quad but he’ll be okay, we anticipate.”

RB — T.J. Hammonds:

“T.J. Hammonds is out.”

Question: Did he have surgery?

“He did. We are still going through all the evaluation of that. We hope to get him back sometime in November. We don’t know at this point.”

Question: Will he redshirt?

“He will — if he can’t come back.”

TE — Jeremy Patton:

“We are still out on Jeremy, we don’t know on that.”

Based on all that, the bye week can’t get here soon enough for the Razorbacks.
