Bret Bielema, OC Dan Enos provide injury update on Arkansas QB Austin Allen
The Arkansas Razorbacks have had a rough start to SEC play, losing their first two conference games in devastating fashion.
However, the loss to South Carolina on Saturday also came with a price, as starting QB Austin Allen was injured and didn’t play in the fourth quarter.
Facing a tough test against Alabama this coming weekend, the Hogs will need Allen in the game to have a chance to pull off the upset.
On Monday, coach Bret Bielema wasn’t sure what Allen’s status was, saying he’d know more on Tuesday:
Bret Bielema: Still in evaluation process with Austin Allen's shoulder injury. The QB could return tomorrow and will know more then.

However, OC Dan Enos is a little higher on Allen’s chances of suiting up against Alabama this weekend:
Arkansas offensive coordinator Dan Enos: "I feel good" about the chances of Austin Allen playing against Alabama. Calls Allen "day to day."

Allen led the SEC in passing yards last season, so it will be critical to have him on the field against the No. 1 Crimson Tide.
There should be more information on Allen’s status as the week progresses, but don’t count the tough senior out just yet.
