Anyone who has watched Arkansas guard Isaiah Joe play lately can see he’s not at 100%. When he’s fully healthy, he and Mason Jones form one of the best backcourt tandems in the SEC.

Lately, though, he’s been limited by an injury. Now, Joe has had surgery to repair the issue and will be out indefinitely.

Coach Eric Musselman announced the news in a release on Tuesday, per WholeHogSports.com:

“As I mentioned in the press conference Monday, Isaiah did have an MRI on his knee,” Musselman said in a news release. “The results came back late Monday and it was determined Isaiah would undergo surgery Tuesday. He will not be at the Auburn game tonight so he can recover and begin rehabilitation.”

Joe played in 20 games for the Razorbacks in 2019-20, averaging 16 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.9 assists per contest.

Whether or not he’ll be able to return for the SEC and NCAA Tournaments remains to be seen, but this is a huge loss for the Razorbacks.
