Former Arkansas QB Brandon Allen is on his third NFL team shortly after he was cut by the Los Angeles Rams.

Allen has landed with the Denver Broncos, who claimed him off of waivers to be the primary backup for QB Joe Flacco, ESPN’s Adam Schefter said. He was recently cut by the Rams, who he was with the last two seasons.

Allen was drafted in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars.

A three-year starter for the Razorbacks, Allen steadily improved throughout his career in Fayetteville. He totaled 7,463 yards passing, which ranks third in program history, and he made 38 career starts at quarterback, including his final 34 games, which was the longest streak for an Arkansas quarterback since the program joined the SEC in 1992.
