With Kellen Mond putting his stamp on the Texas A&M starting quarterback position last season, fellow QB Nick Starkel decided to transfer this offseason.

Now, it appears he has found a new home. Per news that broke on Monday, Starkel will head to Fayetteville for his final two seasons of eligibility.

As you can see below, Starkel announced his decision via Twitter on Monday night, saying he’ll play the next two years in Fayetteville:

Starkel played in four games in 2018, throwing for 169 yards and a touchdown while backing up Mond.

The Razorbacks also brought in graduate transfer QB Ben Hicks from SMU this offseason, so it’ll be interesting to see what happens with that brewing quarterback battle in Fayetteville, as Starkel is eligible to play right away.
