The last commitment Chad Morris landed at Arkansas has just decommitted from the Razorback program.

Considering the heat Morris was under at the time, Mike Harris’ commitment was an interesting one when it was made back in November and when you factor in the fact he did not sign with Arkansas during the Early Signing Period, his decision to back off his pledge to the Razorbacks isn’t much of a surprise.

The Central High School star from Phenix City, Ala., officially announced his decommitment from Arkansas Friday morning. The 5-foot-11, 180-pound Harris is rated as a three-star prospect and the nation’s No. 88 cornerback in the 2020 recruiting cycle according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

This news drops Arkansas’ 2020 recruiting class down to nine signees and three over commitments. The Razorbacks signed four-star safety Myles Slusher during the Early Signing Period and currently hold a commitment from three-star safety Nick Turner but those are the only defensive backs currently in the class at this time.

Arkansas’ loss could be Ole Miss’ gain as Harris is planning an official visit to Oxford to visit Lane Kiffin’s program in the coming days leading up to National Signing Day.
