No SEC program has been hotter on the recruiting than Arkansas since June and the Razorbacks have officially carried over that momentum into August by landing a prospect Chad Morris and company have coveted for months.

Murfreesboro, Tenn., native Adonis Otey announced his commitment to Arkansas on Wednesday. The four-star prospect ranks as the nation’s No. 30 cornerback prospect and the No. 307 overall recruit in the nation for the 2019 recruiting cycle according to 247Sports Composite Rankings. Otey currently holds scholarship offers from Auburn, Tennessee, Louisville, Michigan and Ohio State among many others.

Otey now becomes the 12th commit to Morris’ Arkansas program since June. Otey is the fifth four-star prospect to commit to the class. The Razorbacks now have 16 commitments total for the 2019 recruiting cycle and Otey’s pledge moves Arkansas up to the No. 21 position in the team recruiting rankings for 2019.
