While at Arkansas, 6-foot-10, 319-pound OT Dan Skipper was one of the most recognizable in a position known for keeping a low profile. Now as a pro, he’ll join one of the most high-profile teams in America, and one of the most formidable offensive lines in all of football.

Skipper, who went undrafted despite playing in 51 games with 47 straight starts during a productive career with Arkansas, has reportedly signed with the Dallas Cowboys.

Blogging the Boys, the Dallas Cowboys’ SB Nation site, reported that the Skipper signing was official at 10:56 PM ET on Saturday night, after the NFL Draft’s final rounds had concluded earlier that day.

Skipper was a steadfast member of an Arkansas offensive line known to pound the rock, blocking for productive backs such as Alex Collins, Jonathan Williams and Rawleigh Williams.

Skipper capped off a long career in Fayetteville with a strong senior season, which included an invite to the NFL Combine and an All-SEC First Team selection.

Because of his immense size and quick hands, Skipper is particularly valuable on special teams, where he has blocked seven career kicks, just two shy of the FBS record.
