Rick Neuheisel is not afraid to go out on a limb, and when it comes to a ranked matchup in the SEC, the CBS Sports Network analyst has made a bold call for Week 5.

Neuheisel on Wednesday night picked Arkansas to upset Alabama in Fayetteville on Saturday. The game is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.

While he said it’s “totally understandable” for people to believe Alabama is going to win. However, Neuheisel said Alabama is still missing Jameson Williams and John Metchie at wide receiver.

“They’re not the same,” he said. “Both these teams are coming in this game really able to run the football. I think they’re 9th and 10th in the country in rushing the football. So they can do that. Both teams defensively can stop the run. Neither one gives up 100 yards rushing. So with that being the case, I know Bryce Young gives you the edge, but KJ Jefferson and his running ability forces people in there.”

The key will be an Arkansas wide receiver having a big game similar to what Treylon Burks did in this game last year.

“That’s the reason, in front of this red out, Arkansas is going to win this,” he said.
