Ryan Mallett was a star at Arkansas in 2009 and 2010, throwing for 7,493 yards, 62 touchdowns and 19 interceptions during his 2 seasons as the Hogs’ starting quarterback.

He spent the 2011 through 2017 seasons in the NFL after the New England Patriots drafted him in the third round of the 2011 NFL Draft. He played for the TSL Generals in The Spring League in 2021 in his last professional action.

Now, he’s getting his coaching career started. Per Arkansas prep reporter Adam Cole, Mallett is taking over as the head coach at White Hall High School in Arkansas after spending the past 2 seasons as the OC at Mountain Home:

Mallett played for the Patriots, the Houston Texans and the Baltimore Ravens during his NFL career.

We’ll see how he fares in his first stint as a head coach!
