Arkansas’ newest head football coach, Chad Morris, made an appearance at the Razorbacks’ men’s basketball game on Saturday night.

Morris pumped up the crowd in attendance at Bud Walton Arena with hopes of a resurgent football program.

“It is such an honor to be your head football coach,” Morris said. “Paula, Chandler, Kenzie and I (his family) can’t wait to lock arms, put it in the left lane and hammer down.”

Morris’ intention to “put it in the left lane and hammer down” has been a popular slogan in Fayetteville this week. Hogs fans are hoping his high-powered offense will be able to translate to the SEC.

Morris led a “Woo Pig Sooie” chant after he spoke to the basketball crowd.
