Little did Arkansas know that when it reached an agreement with Chad Morris to become the next Razorback coach, the football program would also add a Texas receiver named Mike Woods.

The Magnolia, Texas native had been committed to the SMU program under Morris but 10 days after decommitting from the Mustangs, Woods signed with Arkansas. He’s already arrived in Fayetteville as an early enrollee and taking part in spring practice with his Razorback teammates. But he’s done much more than show up early, he’s already turning heads this spring.

Despite the team being on spring break with the rest of their fellow students, Woods is working on his game during the break. Check out this video of the Razorback receiver posted by Footwork_King:

After seeing the video, one of Arkansas’ best defenders gave the freshman the ultimate seal of approval. Here’s what defensive back Ryan Pulley had to say:

That pretty much says it all. Don’t be surprised if Woods makes an immediate impact in Morris’ offense next season, as there’s a chance he fits what the new Razorback coach wants in a receiver more than any other pass catcher on the roster at this point.
