Holding a 27-17 lead going into the fourth quarter of Saturday’s road game against Colorado State, the Arkansas Razorbacks watched as the Rams scored 17-straight points to pick up a 34-27 win.

For Hog fans, that was a familiar story, as the team blew a few late leads during Bret Bielema’s tenure with the program.

As you can see in the clip below, new coach Chad Morris was asked about the loss and how he would prevent future instances of blown leads:

“The biggest message there is it’s all about the little things,” he said. “It’s the attention to details that, when you’re up, how do you handle success? We did not handle success well. We lost our focus, we lost our attention to what got us to that point. …

“It’s all about the finish. It’s how we train. We train for moments like this and, at some point, we’ve got to break this cycle.”

The Razorbacks bring their 1-1 record back home on Saturday, when they host North Texas. Morris and the Hogs will be hoping they have a big enough fourth quarter lead to avoid another collapse.
