400-pound OL recruit gets prestigious invitation despite lack of football experience
He’s only a 3-star prospect on the 247 Sports Composite, but OL Daniel Faalele is already generating quite a buzz on the recruiting class.
Faalele has yet to play football outside of camps, but at 6-foot-8, 400 pounds (he’s also been listed at 6-foot-9 and a few pounds under 400), he has the attention of coaches around the country. His first season will be at IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.) this fall, but Under Armour has already decided to invite the gridiron newbie to its prestigious All-American game.

The Australian turned Floridian has previously shown his athleticism in rugby and basketball, but with videos from camps like the one below, it’s not surprising to see offer that he already has offers from Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, LSU and Tennessee, and the attention of Under Armour.
