Auburn has added an experienced offensive lineman to its 2023 roster. Jaden Muskrat is the latest transfer commitment for the Tigers. Muskrat will recognize some familiar faces upon arriving on The Plains.

Muskrat heads to AU after 3 seasons at Tulsa. Former Tulsa head coach Philip Montgomery is on Hugh Freeze’s Auburn staff as offensive coordinator. Muskrat is the second former Tulsa lineman to transfer to Auburn, joining Dillon Wade.

Muskrat has played in 20 games over his first 3 seasons. He started 11 games for the Golden Hurricane at right tackle in 2022.

When the NCAA transfer portal opened for undergraduate entry, Muskrat announced his plans to play elsewhere. While in the portal, he picked up scholarship offers from Auburn, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Syracuse, South Carolina, Purdue, Cincinnati, Penn State, Virginia Tech and Cal.

Muskrat is Auburn’s 4th transfer portal addition in the last 6 days, joining Jalen McLeod, Payton Thorne and Caleb Burton.
