The Auburn Tigers were without talented DE Marlon Davidson on Saturday against Mercer, but that won’t be the case moving forward.

As Auburn prepares to travel to Missouri to take on a different set of Tigers on Saturday night, Davidson, who has been an impact player this season, is expected to play.

According to 247Sports, coach Gus Malzahn confirmed the news on his Thursday talk show:

“We expect Marlon to play,” he said on Auburn’s Tiger Talk radio show.

In two games this season, Davidson has been a force, recording seven tackles (three for a loss) and two sacks already.

Against a struggling Mizzou squad, having Davidson back in the lineup should only help the Auburn defense continue to improve.
