When Brodarious Hamm was diagnosed with cancer in March, playing football for the Tigers was no longer a priority for the four-star prospect. But there’s good news today out of the Plains to pass along today.

247Sports’ Kieth Niebuhr is reporting that Hamm, who is battling Hodgkin’s lymphoma, has enrolled at Auburn. While Hamm is not expected to play this season, his enrollment is the first step in a process toward eventually getting him on the field:

As his battle with cancer continues, Hamm will not play this season. But knowledgeable sources tell AuburnUndercover that Hamm’s longterm prognosis is good and the Tigers look forward to getting him on the field in the future.

Hamm, a product of Griffin Spalding in Georgia, was ranked the No. 31 offensive tackle in the 2016 class.

We know everyone around the SEC is pulling for Hamm to suit up in orange and blue.
