The Auburn Tigers are 20-2 overall entering Saturday’s action, and have a chance to win the SEC regular-season title.

Though they still trail LSU in the standings, the Tigers are getting the most respect nationally, ranked No. 11 overall in the latest AP Poll.

On Saturday, the NCAA released its first ranking of the top 16 teams in the current March Madness field, and Auburn checked in at No. 13 overall, sending them to the South region.

The South region includes the No. 1 overall seed in Baylor, so it would be a tough bracket to go through if it is where the Tigers end up:

  1. Baylor
  2. Louisville
  3. Seton Hall
  4. Auburn

Based on last year’s Final Four run, Auburn can get hot and light up the scoreboard. The Tigers have continued to do that this year, so we’ll see where they end up in the NCAA Tournament and if they can go on another run.
