It was good for the Auburn Tigers to get back on the winning track after an ugly Week 3 loss to No. 22 Penn State. The Tigers did just that, although it wasn’t a cakewalk. In fact, it took Auburn all the way until overtime to come away with a win.

Auburn beat the Missouri Tigers, 17-14, to move to 3-1 (1-0 SEC) in the early season.

After the game, Auburn highlighted six different players who played key roles in the overtime victory.

Robby Ashford, the freshman quarterback, completed 12-of-18 passes for 127 yards, but he really made his presence known on the ground with 15 rushes for 46 yards and a touchdown.

Senior linebacker Derick Hall got a shoutout from the program for his eight tackles (including three tackles for loss), two sacks, and two fumble recoveries.

Up next for Auburn is a massive clash against 3-1 (1-0 SEC) LSU at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
