Auburn on Friday became the latest SEC program to release its men’s basketball non-conference schedule.

The Tigers open with George Mason in their home opener on Nov. 7, and then play South Florida on Nov. 11 and Winthrop on Nov. 15, as a part of a non-bracketed game of the 2022 Cancun Challenge. Georgia State is also on AU’s home slate on Dec. 14.

Five opponents reached the postseason a year ago, and Auburn will have home games against defending SWAC champion Texas Southern (Nov. 18) and back-to-back Patriot League champion Colgate (Dec. 2).

Bradley will be Auburn’s opening-round opponent at the Cancun Challenge on Nov. 22 at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya in Cancun, Mexico. The Tigers will then face either Northwestern or Liberty on Nov. 23 in the Riviera Division of the bracket.

Saint Louis will make a return trip to the Plains on Nov. 27, while the Tigers take on Memphis in a Holiday Hoopsgiving game on Dec. 10 in Atlanta.

Auburn will have a West Coast swing in December when it plays USC on Dec. 18 in Los Angeles and Washington on Dec. 21 in Seattle.

The final non-conference game will be a road tilt at West Virginia as part of the Big 12/SEC Challenge on Jan. 28, 2023, in Morgantown, West Virginia.
