Dreshun Miller is on the move again after he spent one season at Auburn following a transfer from West Virginia. The veteran defensive back with one season of eligibility remaining has entered the transfer portal, according to multiple reports including 247Sports.

Miller will enter his sixth season of college football in 2022, taking advantage of the extra year of eligibility granted by the NCAA in 2020 because of the pandemic. He’s the second defensive back from Auburn to enter the transfer portal since the end of the regular season after nickel Ladarius Tennison.

Miller was expected to be an impactful transfer at Auburn, but only appeared in one game this past season and didn’t record any stats. A native of Kennesaw, Georgia, Miller started 9 games for West Virginia 2 years ago, and finished that the season with 31 tackles and an interception. The Mountaineers finished the season with the nation’s No. 1 passing defense.

He was an All-Big 12 honorable mention selection. Miller led West Virginia with 8 pass breakups and an interception in 2020, when the Mountaineers led the nation in pass defense while allowing 156.9 yards per game.
