Robby Ashford and Auburn decided they don’t need to throw the ball in the second half after all.
Hugh Freeze said that the Tigers need to pass the ball more, but the running game was still prevalent early in the third quarter.
Robby Ashford didn’t waste too much time finding the endzone after a forced fumble by Marcus Harris. Jalen McLeod recovered the fumble for the Tigers.

Ashford carried the ball eight times in the 27-10 loss to Texas A&M in Week 4. He was contained pretty well and had 25 yards rushing, however. Ashford is proving that he can be a versatile player for Freeze and Auburn.
The Tigers have come out of gate hot in the second half against Georgia. It will take more of these kinds of plays to take down the Bulldogs.
