Auburn seemingly had LSU beaten on Saturday afternoon, and then they didn’t. LSU stormed back, scoring the final 12 points, to beat Auburn on a last-second field goal, 22-21.

It was a heart-breaking loss for Auburn, who still has to face four ranked opponents, including three on the road. They will likely have to win all four of those games and the rest of their SEC contests to make the conference championship.

But that’s looking too far ahead. Auburn fullback Chandler Cox had things in perspective for the Tigers on Monday morning and said they just “got to keep going.”

“It’s kind of like life. You get knocked down, you’ve got to keep going,” Cox said according to Jeff Shearer of AuburnTigers.com. “We can complain. We can be mad at ourselves, but at the end of the day, it’s not going to do any good. So tomorrow, we’re going to flush it and move on to Arkansas.”

Auburn will host Auburn at 7:30 p.m. this Saturday. The Tigers will then face Southern Miss before visiting No. 14 Mississippi State. Auburn also has road matchups with Georgia and Alabama looming on the schedule in November.
