Bo Nix hinted about his plans to move away from Auburn next season in recent weeks, but in an Instagram video on Sunday night, he made it clear.

The Auburn quarterback has entered the transfer portal. He said it’s best to be a grad transfer and find a new start somewhere else.

“I don’t know what the next chapter of my life looks like, but whatever it is, God has ordered my steps and he has a plan for me like he does for everyone else,” Nix said. “I’m going to miss the moments I’ve had as an Auburn Tiger. To my teammates, my coaches and my friends who have been a part of this journey and have been with my along the way, thank you. I got the experience of a lifetime, and I’ve accomplished my goal.”

Before he suffered a season-ending ankle injury, Nix was one of the more durable players around, especially at quarterback as he made 34 straight starts for Auburn.
