Clay Wedin, an elite offensive line recruit out of Florida, has announced a commitment to play in the SEC.

Wedin, who is a 4-star prospect from Tampa, Florida (Carrollwood Day) committed to Auburn on Friday. Wedin was recruited to Auburn by Will Friend and Cadillac Williams. He’s rated the No. 22 interior offensive lineman in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite, and the No. 72 player in the state of Florida.

Wedin flipped to Auburn after he was a Michigan State commitment from mid-June to Monday.

“With Auburn, what it is to me, it’s more than just the football program,” Wedin told Auburn Undercover. “Yes I do like the coaching staff, Coach Friend, Coach Bernardi and Coach Harsin, but it’s more than just football there. I absolutely love the university, the people that I’m surrounded by. I have respect and look up to some of the dudes on their roster such as Garner Langlo, EJ Harris as well as Cort Bradley. So overall, Auburn may be a great fit for me as both an athlete and as a student.”

Wedin became Auburn’s highest-rated offensive line commit, and joined 4-star center Bradyn Joiner and 3-star tackle Gernorris Wilson.
