Demetris Robertson won’t be held back from making an impact with Auburn this season as the pending charges against him in Athens have been dropped.

That’s according to Chip Towers of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution who reports that the Henry County district attorney’s office dropped all charges against Robertson after the former Georgia receiver paid $725 for illegally removing a parking boot from his car.

This time last week, Robertson announced his transfer from Georgia to Auburn for his final season of college eligibility.

During his time in Athens, Robertson caught 42 passes for 443 yards and three touchdowns. He also rushed for 161 yards and another score. Those numbers didn’t quite match his totals during his time at Cal, 57 catches for 837 yards and seven touchdown receptions, where Robertson was viewed as one of the conference’s best young receivers.

Robertson was rated as the nation’s No. 1 receiver prospect in the 2016 recruiting cycle. He was one of the fastest prospects in the country coming out of high school.
