Nine seasons after entering the NFL as a seventh-round selection out of Auburn in the 2008 NFL Draft, King Dunlap is calling it a career.

The former standout Tiger played five seasons for the Eagles from 2008-2012 before heading to San Diego for the 2013-2016 seasons. Following several seasons in mostly a reserve role, it was with the Chargers that his pro career took off. Dunlap started 46 games for the Chargers during that span but was not signed following the season. In total, Dunlap made 65 career starts in the NFL and made 98 appearances.

Dunlap was named San Diego Offensive Lineman of the Year in 2014 by his Chargers teammates. Needless to say, the former Auburn lineman made the most of his chances after entering the league as one of the last picks in the 2013 draft.
