Just when it looked like Auburn couldn’t possibly have any more momentum heading into the weekend, the Tigers just picked up their third commitment of the day.

An hour after four-star offensive lineman Caleb Johnson announced his commitment to the Tigers, his high school teammate Garner Langlo did the same. The two Trinity Catholic offensive linemen were joined by three-star athlete Tar’varish Dawson as Auburn’s new commitments heading into the weekend.

“I am thrilled to announce my commitment to play football at Auburn University! I thank GOD for this blessing and I also thank my family, my coaches and my teammates for helping me become the young man and player I am today. I am so very thankful for the amazing opportunities that so many college programs and coaches have extended to me. I sincerely thank them all for recruiting me. Having said all of the above, all I have to say now is… WAR DAMN EAGLE!!!”

The 6-foot-7, 270-pound Trinity Catholic standout is rated as a three-star prospect and the No. 58 offensive tackle in the country by 247Sports Composite Rankings for the 2021 recruiting cycle. Langlo picked Auburn over scholarship offers from Duke, Appalachian State and Baylor, among others.

Following this news, Auburn now holds commitments from seven players in the 2021 recruiting cycle.
