Former Auburn RB Corey Grant has a new NFL home.

The Green Bay Packers announced that they have signed Grant to a free agent contract. Grant had been a free agent since the end of the 2018 season when the Jacksonville Jaguars cut him loose. He spent four years in Jacksonville.

Grant was injured during the 2018 season, as he suffered a Lisfranc injury — a displacement of at least one of the metatarsal bones. He rushed for just 40 yards before getting injured.

In four NFL seasons, Grant has tallied 81 carries for 454 yards and three TDs. His best season came in 2017 when he rushed for 248 yards and two TDs.

While at Auburn, Grant amassed 135 carries for 1,040 yards and nine TDs. He redshirted at Alabama in 2010, sat our due to NCAA transfer rules in 2011 and played for the Tigers from 2012-14.
