Former Auburn DL Nick Fairley hasn’t played in the NFL this year or last after being forced to retire with a heart condition.

Now back in Alabama, the former New Orleans Saint has been arrested, according to Mobile County Metro Jail records.

Per AL.com, Fairley was arrested on Friday afternoon for two counts of menacing:

Former NFL defensive tackle Nick Fairley was booked into Mobile County Metro Jail on Friday afternoon after being charged with two counts of menacing.

According to the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office’s jail log, the former Auburn standout entered jail at 4:48 p.m. CST Friday.

The details surrounding the arrest are not known at this time. However, Fairley is now in legal trouble and we’ll see what comes of these charges.
