Auburn’s offense took a step back while quarterback Sean White has been dealing with a shoulder injury.

White’s injury, along with that of Kamryn Pettway, sapped some of the Tigers’ offensive potency as they lost their final two SEC games of the season.

It was an interesting season for Auburn, but there were times when its offense looked like one of the best in the country. Fortunately for Tigers fans, that is the offense they might see in the team’s bowl game as it appears White should be fully healed.

“Sean hung in there and tried to play against Georgia, but just wasn’t close,” Malzahn told ESPN’s Chris Low. “We weren’t going to rush him back after that, but he should be fine for the bowl game.”

After a poor showing at Georgia, White sat out the Tigers’ final two regular season games. If he is indeed going to be ready for the bowl game as Malzahn indicated, Auburn’s offense should benefit.
