A special moment happened after Auburn’s narrow win over Kentucky on Thursday night.

Tigers defensive coordinator Will Muschamp, the former coach at Florida, delivered a message to Kentucky wide receiver Garrett Johnson. He apologized to Johnson who was a three-star prospect out of Winter Garden, Florida, in the 2014 class but never received an offer from the Gators.

The sophomore playmaker burned Auburn’s secondary for 160 yards receiving on nine catches.

“I screwed up, I’m a dumbass … you’re a hell of a player,” Muschamp told Johnson, shaking his hand.

The exchange was caught on video by a local reporter:
